Windshield & Auto Glass Replacement in Nevada, TX

One loose rock kicked up by a gravel hauler on FM 2756 is all it takes. When a crack starts spreading, we swap the glass and set the camera behind it.

Gravel, Hail and Glass

Out here, windshields have a hard life. Gravel stretches on the county roads, trucks hauling rock on SH 78 and the occasional hailstorm all send things flying at your glass. A small chip can sometimes hold, but once a crack starts running across the driver's view, replacement is the safe call. Side windows and back glass also break in crashes and break-ins. We replace the glass with proper adhesive, let it cure the right way, and check the driver-assist camera when your vehicle has one. You get a clear answer about what's needed, without a sales pitch.

What Comes With a Glass Replacement

Swapping glass is more than popping in a new pane. These are the details we take care of.

  • Crack size-up

We look at where the crack sits and how long it is, then tell you honestly whether replacement is needed.

  • Glass matched to your options

We match the glass to your vehicle's features, including rain sensors, heating elements and camera brackets.

  • Careful cut-out

The old glass is cut out slowly so the pinch weld and paint around the opening aren't scratched or bent.

  • Bare-metal priming

Any exposed metal in the opening is primed so moisture can't start rust under the new seal.

  • Urethane bead and cure

New glass is set in fresh urethane and given the cure time the adhesive maker calls for before you drive.

  • Busted windows from break-ins and wrecks

Broken door windows and rear glass are replaced, with leftover shards vacuumed out of the door and cabin.

  • Moldings, cowl and wipers

Trim, moldings, cowl and wiper arms go back on snug so you don't hear whistling at highway speed.

  • Lane camera reset

If your windshield holds a lane camera, we calibrate it after the swap so your driver aids read the road correctly.

How a Glass Swap Goes

  1. 1

Check the glass and the vehicle

We take a look at the crack or the broken window and note your vehicle's features. That tells us which glass to order. If your insurance covers glass, we help with the claim details. You'll know what to expect before we start.

  2. 2

    Swap in the new pane

The old glass comes out and the opening is cleaned and primed. New urethane goes down in an even bead. The glass is set in place, centered and pressed into the seal. Moldings and trim follow once it's seated.

  3. 3

    Cure, calibrate, head home

The adhesive gets its cure time before the vehicle moves. If there's a forward camera, we run the calibration routine. We run water over the seal and listen for wind whistle on a short drive. Then you're set to head home.

Why Folks Trust Us With Their Glass

  • We respect cure times

Rushing a windshield is a safety problem, since that glass helps hold the roof up in a rollover. We give it the time it needs.

  • Camera work stays in-house

No bouncing between a glass outfit and a dealer. The calibration happens right here after the install.

  • Easy to reach

Folks from Farmersville, Copeville and Lavon can get here without a long haul into the city.
