Storm damage
Hail Damage Repair in Nevada, TX for Trucks and Daily Drivers
When a spring storm rolls across the Lake Lavon area, whatever is parked out by the barn or the pasture gate takes the worst of it. We sort the dents out one panel at a time.
Dents from the latest storm? (000) 000-0000Hail Is Part of Living Out Here
Most folks around Nevada, Texas don't have a garage stall for every vehicle, so when hail comes through, something usually gets caught out in the open. Some storms leave dozens of shallow dings across a roof and hood that only show up when the light hits just right. Others leave sharp, deep dents that crack the paint along the edges. The good news is that most hail dents can be massaged out from behind without sanding or repainting anything. We look at each panel under bright lighting, tell you plainly which ones need paint and which don't, and help you get the claim moving. No runaround, just a straight answer about your truck or car.
Where the Hail Work Goes
A hail job is mostly patience and good light. Here's what we cover on a typical storm-dinged vehicle.
Panel-by-panel dent map
We mark and count the dents on each panel so the estimate matches what's really on the vehicle, not a rough guess.
Paint-safe dent pushing
Where the paint is unbroken, we push the metal back from underneath with hand tools until the dent is gone and the factory finish stays put.
Glue-pull work on closed panels
Roof rails and double-walled areas can't be reached from behind, so we pull those dents out from the front with specialty tabs.
Cracked-paint panels
When hail chipped the finish, that panel gets filled, primed and refinished so rust doesn't get a foothold.
Trim, mirror and light checks
Hail also cracks mirror caps, cowl panels and marker lights. We look them over and list anything that needs replacing.
Sunroof and glass look-over
We check the sunroof, windshield and rear glass for chips and cracks that are easy to miss right after a storm.
Cab roof and bed rail attention
Pickups catch hail across a wide, flat roof and long bed rails. We give those big surfaces the slow, careful work they need.
Adjuster-ready photos
Every panel gets photographed so your insurance company sees the same damage we do.
From Storm Night to Smooth Panels
- 1
Bring it by after the storm
Drive the vehicle over once the roads are clear and we'll pull it under the lights. We go over every panel and write down what we find. If you carry hail coverage, we help you open the claim. You leave knowing whether you're looking at paintless work, paint work, or both.
- 2
Settle up with the adjuster
Hail claims usually need an adjuster to see the vehicle. We line that up and walk the adjuster around the dent map. If more damage turns up later, we send photos and an updated sheet. You get a phone call from us whenever something changes.

Repair, recheck and hand back
The dents come out panel by panel, starting with the roof and working down. Anything needing paint is refinished and blended. Before pickup we look it over again under the lights from several angles. Then we walk you around it so you can see the difference yourself.
