Paintless dent removal
Paintless Dent Repair in Nevada, TX for Hail and Parking-Lot Dings
Hail out of a spring thunderstorm can dimple a hood and roof in a few minutes. When the paint is still intact, we press those dents out from underneath.
Ask if your dent qualifies at (000) 000-0000No Sanding, No Filler, No New Paint
Paintless dent repair uses long steel rods and shaped tips to massage a dent out from behind the panel, little by little. Because nothing is sanded or painted, your factory finish stays exactly as it came. It works best on round, shallow dents where the paint hasn't cracked, which describes most hail damage and a lot of parking-lot dings. Here in Nevada, Texas, storms that build over the Lake Lavon area can pepper a pickup's hood, roof and bed rails before you can get it under cover. We also see plenty of dings from feed store lots and tight spots in Wylie. If a dent is too sharp or the paint is broken, we'll say so before we start.
Where Paintless Repair Does Its Best Work
Here's what a paintless job can cover and how we go about it.
Does it qualify? We check first
We look at the paint, the depth and the location of each dent so you know up front whether paintless will work.
Hail counted panel by panel
For storm damage, we map the dents on each panel so the claim and the repair plan match what's really there.
Roof and bed rail dimples
Pickups catch hail on the roof and the top of the bed rails, and both are spots we can usually reach from underneath.
In through openings already there
Headliners, tail lamps and inner panels come out so we can get our tools behind the dent without drilling.
Reading the metal on a line board
A lined reflector shows every tiny high and low spot so we can work the dent out evenly.
Glue pulls where rods can't go
On braced areas, we pull from the outside with a glue tab and gentle force instead of pushing from behind.
Raised rings tapped level
The raised ring around a dent gets tapped down so the panel looks flat in any light.
Trim put back snug
Everything we removed goes back in place, and we check that the headliner and lamps sit right.
What Your Paintless Visit Looks Like
- 1
Roll it under the lights
We pull the vehicle into good lighting and look at each dent closely. A quick check tells us if the paint is flexible enough to move. Then we let you know which dents will come out and which may need other work. Hail jobs get a panel-by-panel count.
- 2
Work it out from underneath
Trim and lamps come off as needed so our rods can reach the back of the panel. We press the metal up in many small, slow pushes, watching the reflection the whole time. High spots get tapped down as we go. It's patient work, and it shows.
- 3
Close it up and look together
Once the dents are gone, everything goes back together. We check the panels from several angles outside in daylight. Then we show you the before and after so you can judge for yourself.
What You Gain by Going Paintless
Your original paint stays
Factory paint is the best match there is. Paintless repair leaves it alone, which helps when trade-in time comes around.
Made for hail country
Storms roll through this corner of Collin County often enough that we're well practiced on roofs, hoods and bed rails.
An honest no when it won't work
If a dent is too sharp or the paint is cracked, we'll tell you plainly and point you to the right fix.
Hail Leave a Few Dimples Behind?
Pull in and let us look over the hail or the door ding. We'll tell you whether it will push out and how long we'll need the vehicle.
